I can't read the disk

    I am having problems reading the Supreme Commander Disk. I can read other DVDs like my windows disk and Neverwinter nights ect, but not Supreme Commander.. Anyone else having this problem?

    Its a real Disk BTW...

    Any kind of error it shows? Following are some of the frequent errors one encounters:-

    1) X:\ is not accessible.

    2) I/O Device Error.

    3) Cyclic Redundancy Check Errors (CRC Error)

    That's part of the problem I get no error no nothing its like the disk is not even in the drive...

    try running the disk on someone else's computer. see if it runs or not?

    Maybe you have Autorun disabled.

    Did you go to "My Computer" and try opening your DVD Drive?

    I always have autorun disabled, I think I will go to the computer store tomorrow and use one of their computers to see if I can see the disk on it...

    yea..see if the disk is working on another computer. assuming it does work..then probably ur drive's starting to act up. meaning that its laser is weakening. if it doesn't work on another system..then its definitely a faulty disk and u should get it replaced.

    Yea, I hope its something else the drive is on 2 years old I mostly play older games, so I don't use the DVD part of it very often I will go to the store today and see..
