Guys, give it a rest. It's impossible for them to please everyone. Maybe if they had more people, and if they made people pay more, they could manage it, but understand that right now, they're doing their very best, and then some.

FIrst of all, I think that we are all very grateful for the hard work people put into this site. I think most of the frustration is really related at Steam who keep updating games (with no clear benefits in a lot of cases) and leaving no option for users to choose to update or not. Yes you can stop the game from updating but only after you installed it first..and the first install usually give you the latest patch as well.
It's perfectly understandable that games are retired. I've no issues at all with it. Take Beat Hazard and it's daily bull**** updates for example. People need to just suck it up to be honest.
If you were charging per game, I could understand any complaints. But you're not so it's a moot point.
Wait wait wait... So... some Trainers created by CH, which still works for some games are also taken down? If so, I would like to know why this is.

No.. retiring means no more updates for that game since its getting too old, becoming too difficult to create or people were being idiots and forced it to retire (yes this has happened a couple of times).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Great site for new games with constant deals
Is there an endangered list that one can see what is going bye bye, just in case one wants to download the trainers? If you look at my collection you will understand. Yes, I do own all of those games ( and more, need to update ) and no I haven't played them all to the end.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you can't say it face to face, don't say it here!!
PWizard - Thanks for that. Clear, concise and honest. I love the point you make about membership being just that - membership. We aren't paying for particular trainers. We are given access to the trainers that the team makes as a benefit of membership. I've been around here long enough to remember when they decided to charge for access to new trainers. Although it inconvenienced me, I knew how much work it takes to create all these trainers, and accepted the decision because the alternative was to stop creating the trainers altogether and go work for CSC or someone. Why are the trainers coded to members? Because the trainers are software and the property of the makers. I have seen a couple of their trainers dropped onto torrent sites and let the team know straight away. CH is not a huge publisher or software producer. They make a product we all love and we should, as members, help them protect the work they do - FOR US.
