What people fail to realize is that everyday, in addition to the hundreds of complaints, I also get several false notifications of game updates which supposedly "break" the current trainer. A Steam client update, a game loader update, an antivirus update occurs but doesn't actually change the game or affect the trainer in any way. Some people don't even bother TESTING the trainer to see if it still works, they just instantly cry wolf. So we have to delete a current game to make room for this so-called updated game. Re-download the game, re-test the trainer, etc, all just to find out that the game hasn't updated at all. We just wasted about 5 hours when we don't have 5 minutes to spare in the day. Same thing goes for false patches. People send us the wrong files or non-updated files (like the case of BC2) and yet again we waste time searching out changes that do not exist when we could be working on games that HAVE actually patched or changed. On top of all this I get nice sarcastic comments from people and at the end of the day it's just not worth it.
This is almost a Given With any Internet Bace Service On Something That has updates I saw it with quite a few job Sites i put together.
And your service Does not include one Thing updating. But several Hundreds a year. "Inc Consoles. And Sister Sites"
what it looks like to me is you need more help.
Or make it so theres an actual / Even Fake, Complaints Feature, Up date alert Button. and have these Pointed to its own email.
I even once set up something for a guy for when ever some one tried to pm him they had to Read a TOS type agreement. with a warning system.
So i understand.
