Completely agreed with Thrawnie and Mommy.

You discriminate because you get off to women doing the deed together, but are disgusted by the sight of a pair of cannons and quartet of cannonballs in the same frame.

That's classic hypocrisy. You can't have it both ways. Either it's all good, or you're opposed to it all, otherwise you're a hypocrite.

But I digress, this discussion has remained civil for the most part. I don't see a problem with keeping it going.

Pierre Trudeau said that when he was our Prime Minister. I put the same idea towards gay marriage, what goes on in someone elses bedroom is not my business, or anyone that isn't in that bedroom.

It's a scientific fact that people are born either gay or straight. Arguing against that is like saying the Earth is flat.

I'm not gay but I fully support gay rights. Not giving gay people rights is like not giving immigrant minorities rights, it's wrong. Any minority who is against gay rights is incredibly ignorant and hypocritical. If you expect to be treated equally if you're different then you should also treat others equally.

I disagree. Science has nothig to do with it. For the past 14 years of my life I have been straight forward like an arrow but I am starting to feel I have a very very slight attraction to other guys (mostly emo guys which who doesnt). I also disagree because science has twisted Darwin's theory as to put that a god does not exist. When in fact he said himself that is such a change happens that is not explainable by naturistic means his theory is void.

and i didnt know Foxxie was gay O.o wow I am wayyyyyyout of the loop!

I also agree with Foxxie's above statement ^^

I notice a lot of bigotry coming from people which are predominantly religious.

Now let's ignore the fact you are willing to allow the invisible man in the sky to replace any form of reasoning with what you "assume" he approves of.

Let's say for sake of argument he is real do you actually think he would so strongly favour heterosexual? O rly? Well let's look apply some common sense to that viewpoint.

Here's a graph of the population of the Earth past and potentially the future.

    Link

The worlds population has tripled in a less than a life time..

You could argue heterosexuality is reducing our planets resources and adversely affecting the environment and that if half the world were to turn gay tomorrow it would solve a lot of problems in years to come. So what reasonable god wouldn't favour this option? Although based on a lot of what I read in the bible he never did seem a particularly reasonable god to be fair.

How someone can argue whether or not same-sex marriage without bringing religion is beyond me. I predict in the next 14 years, every state in the United States will legalize it.

That's pretty much guaranteed to happen. The only people vehemently opposing same-sex marriage are old, stubborn people. In 14 years, the majority will agree that it should be legal.

And I'll have a union ceremony (Note, not a wedding/marriage ceremony in the literal sense of being a religious ceremony), and I'll renew my vows every year in front of freaking city hall until all 50 states have legalized same-sex marriages in every sense of the word Marriage, not just with the rights associated with marriage.

Also, a great many homosexual people are of a very spiritual/religious faith such as Christianity. Here in Oregon are no less than a dozen churches that I know for a fact have homosexual preachers and such, so even today it's becoming more acceptable to be a gay Christian.

I'm a straight shooter, always have been and always will be. I believe in straight shooting and the thought of me being involved with a man rather repulses me. Other people seem to be able to find interest in their own sex and so I won't judge. It's their choice and so if they're okay with it then so am I.
    I rock.

I don't mind whatever sexuality a person is, but I cannot stand people who advertise it 24/7. It makes you come of as an extremely annoying person.
    Your bitterness, I will dispel
