Steam just updated Just Cause 2 to V1.0.0.1 and the current trainer no longer works as it crashes the game. I can't find out anything about what the update was for, any ideas?
Edit: redownloaded the trainer and it now works fine, thanks for the update.

No they haven't. The initial steam release of the game is actually v1.0.0.1. Steam usually document all updates (however smal) and there has been nothing noted, so this confirms it.
As for your crashes then, has the trainer previously worked? If so, then it could well be something else which has altered on your system.
Hello, could we please have a "freeze gamer and freeze code" timer added to the trainer? some of the other trainers out there still have it - also how about freezing chaos or removing chaos completely at times? does help in missions - thanks for your work =)

Usually just after/before I play the game, Steam always quickly synchronizes which I'm quite used to. But when the game said it was updating (this took 10 seconds on a 6Meg line) I took this for a minor game update since coincidently the trainer also stopped working. Trainer was working great before that odd issue I briefly came across.
This is what happened: I played JC2 for 2 hours, saved the game, then exit to desktop (closed trainer), Steam says game was updating, had something to eat for a bit, came back (didn't change anything on my PC) started trainer & game and clicked to resume my saved game, pressed F1 and game stopped working.
I was only when I tried later on after re-downloading the trainer (plus a PC restart since I don't leave it on standby when I'm out) that it worked again. The game is overdue a patch to fix many bugs but now I am dreading when it does happen as I play this game every day cos its great!

That's the typical post of "OMG it's updated", but it's not actually confirmed. It's this exact situation which diverts the trainermakers' attention from other games (new options) for an update which has not really taken place, equalling waste of time.
1st, thanks for the trainer. All options work, but the with the weapon/vehicle parts trainer gives me I can't actually upgrade anything, only with the parts I collected regular way. I checked forums for this, but I don't see anyone else reporting it...
Edit: Nvm, found free upgrades mod. Edit2: That did not fix it. Or reinstalling with saves and settings deleted. Just ignore this post.
