"War is not about who's right, it's about who's left" - Robot servant in Megaton from Fallout 3
A bit paraphrased, but:
"God gave each of the nationalities something at which they're good at. The Italians are good with food, the Germans are good with cars and the French... well the French are good for nothing." - Mace O'Neill from "It's all relative"

"There are daggers in men's smiles" - Shakespeare

"I speak Spanish to God, Italian to women, French to men, and German to my horse." - Charles V, something about this quote just made me laugh.

"He serves me most, who serves his country best" - Homer

"The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his." - Patton

Some of these persons like Patton or Shakespeare have other quotes that I like e.g. "The devil can quote scripture for his own ends" etc.
I'm just too lazy to write them all.

I'm in a Napoleonic mood, as I've been rereading the Sharpe series.

Field Marshall Sir Arthur Wellesley had some wonderful quotes.

"The whole art of war consists in getting at what is on the other side of the hill."

"It is very true that I have said that I considered Napoleon's presence in the field equal to forty thousand men in the balance. This is a very loose way of talking; but the idea is a very different one from that of his presence at a battle being equal to a reinforcement of forty thousand men."

"Being born in a stable does not make one a horse."

But my favorite is about Parliament.

"I never saw so many shocking bad hats in my life."

"Your best is not always enough. That's why it is used as a comforter after failure. "You tried your best, but death consumed the nation anyway. Sorry." "

"Incompetent good intentions will only bring tragedy. If you intend to do what is right, you need the strength to accompany that."

"The world is made of numbers. All you have to do is find the right variables for your victory equation."

"They're to the left of us, the right of us, in front of us, and behind us. They won't get away this time."-A Marine.

"A wise man once told me never to argue with someone who is better armed than the entire warrior caste on parade."-Sigurn from DA: Awakenings.

"AK-47. Kill every motherf***er in the room. Accepts no substitutes."

"And Shepherds we shall be
For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti."
-Boondock Saints Family Prayer

"And when I vest my flashing sword And my hand takes hold in judgement I will take vengeance upon mine enemies And I will repay those who hase me O Lord, raise me to Thy right hand And count me amoung Thy saints ."

"Whosoever shed last blood. By man shall his blood be shed. For immunity of god make he the man. Destroy all that which is evil. So that which is good may flourish. And I shall count thee amoung my favoured sheep. And you shall have the protection of all the angels in heaven."

"Never shall innocent blood be shed. Yet the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river. The three shall spread their blackened wings and be the vengeful striking hammer of god. "
