The problem with health care was never quality or access or anything like that.
But COST!
And now it will cost several orders of magnitude MORE.
Have they increased the size of the plan?
The mandate level of coverage will significantly increase the average American's premium. In addition, the subsidy for those who can't afford it will cost individuals and families alike in huge surtaxes.
And, irony of ironies, in this law which requires you to buy insurance, if you buy too much you will be taxed as well for having a health plan that's too good.

So wait. You have to buy a certain amount. If you can't afford this, you have to pay EXTRA?!
And the fact that they've decided there is such a thing as "too much" coverage. What. The. ****. That's like telling someone that they're not allowed to carry a jerry can of fuel around in case they run out on the highway.
then it has the unconstrained power to mandate that every American family buy a General Motors vehicle to help the economy or pay a federal penalty
Don't worry, it's coming. Toyota is being systemically driven out of the US and the rest of the foreign makers will be as well. And then Ford will be pushed out, all minor vehicle companies will be disbanded. And then it'll just be Government Motors and Chrysler, which will be merged into a single state-owned company and they will have a monopoly on the manufacture and sale of all motor vehicles.
