They couldn't do keyhole surgery, which is standard. It had ruptured several days ago, so they opened me up completely. Apparently my whole stomach was full of bile and an abscess had formed. Everything is sore and hurting, can't move at all. Thanks for the sympathy though.
My chief problem is an auto-immune disease which will eventually result in a fused spinal column.
