no worries, kotor is worth $50+ in my book because its way better than all these brand new games out that cost $60-70. you got a great deal.

By almost got hit I mean I saw it right in front of me, like less than 10 metres away. Like, had I decided to stroll slightly faster, I'd have been hit.

Lightning hits the lake in my parents' backyard all the time. One time we had lighting hit the big tree in our backyard back when I was in grade school that somehow fried our computer (but I've always had this sinking suspicion that one of my parents actually broke it instead).
