Heh sleeping pills should be the last solution. Try Valerian first.
Trust is a fragile thing. Once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover. Those we're closest to can betray us,and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.

There has not been a single study that shows that valerian is any more effective than placebo. What it actually seems to do is balance a person--make the relaxed person more nervous and the nervous person more relaxed, resulting in a net lack of effect.

Packaged with its tendencies to cause intestinal distress, it's best to use sleeping pills.

Start with something like Advil PM. It's very mild, doesn't **** you up and helps your brain shut down.

In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'

If the reason you're not sleeping is because you're nervous then valerian can help. But as far as I know it works better if it's ongoing use and not a one time thing. Any side effects it has can occur after a month of use.

"In 2007, the manufacturer added an adverse effect warning to Advil's packaging and website informing consumers that "[Advil] may cause stomach bleeding," after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) demanded changes."

I got that from wiki as we don't have advil here. I'll take a headache or an upset stomach over stomach bleeding anyday. Also what's the point of taking a pain reliever when she's not in pain?

Unless a psychologist/psychiatrist prescribes something then I say it's better to be safe(r) than sorry.

All anti-inflammatory medications (essentially all pain killers) can cause ulcers to bleed.

    But still from Advil.com:
    "Do not use
if you have sleeplessness without pain"
