I voted Not Bad, they had the potential to create a masterpiece but ended up makking a dogs dinner of it all!! After completing the (very broken) campaign, i ended up going bak to playing hours of FA! Im dissapointed but it kept me entertained for a few hours!

yea...i agree that they did have the opportunity to create a master-piece and they did try and please everyone which is where they went wrong.

its a great game but it has a lot of bad sides
they could have make it the best game ever if they tried

It sucks,
ultra small maps,
1/3 of units
lame experimentals
too small research tree
weird story
very short campain

lets call it Supreme Minimalism

Just goes to show, the game industry is more interested in quantity over quality! Its all about trying to make the most amount of money! I just really hope the modding community can bring this game back to life!

Yah... i voted "Very Bad". Why? Because it WAS! Gas Powered Games cheaped out on this one -_-. Look at SupCom and Forged Alliance, AWESOME games, especially if you do LAN games, what would have been the BEST is if they took Forged Alliance, made it multi core friendly and made a new story with new units. Not some cheaply voiced over, small mapped "ready for console", cartoon looking animation POS. I'm sure it's great on X360 but as far as PC RTS's go, this is at the bottom, I mean Starwars Empire at War is better then this...

It's a great game. Many people pan it because it's not the exact same as SC:FA "but improved", but those people are being unfair. Judge a game on its own merits. The game is fun, has a great amount of varied gameplay, and has a lot of fun concepts thrown in as well (the magnetron! pulinsmash! unit cannon1). Its multiplayer is better balanced, faster paced and yet at the same time can last very long. It has its issues (lack of naval buildings and units, for example, and only one 4v4 map), but it still puts GPG up there with Relic as the top RTS developers in this decade. Also? Don't blame a company for trying to bring in more customers. Developers have to eat, too, you know.
