Im almost at the end of chapter 8, i bought the collectors edition of the players guide and so far its been a breeze all the way though, the advice there is awesome and hasnt put me a foot wrong.
You are right i only use my guide whenever i get stuck in some fights. Other then that i play it by ear. Great guide by the way. Plus the game gets harder as you progress.

I for one would like a game save editor. A simple google search and about 15 minutes of research as left me concluding that one does not currently exist.
As a side note: There's no reason to create a new thread on a topic one wishes to discuss for which there is already a thread. Mods can ban me all they want... if i'm going to discuss a game save editor, I'm sure as hell not going to create a superfluous thread.

Before anyone says anything, yes, I revived this and if the mods dislike it... that doesn't really matter since their job is mostly to keep us in line and ensure we follow the rules. Nothing else.
(and I doubt there's a rule about reviving a thread)

Alot of people would like a save game editor, but the only save game editors, for any console games is mostly for the 360. It's rare to find any for ps3 games for many reasons.
1: Sony made the annoyingly stupid idea for games with trophies to make save games useless. (Honestly, it's a game. There shouldn't be trophies anyway -_- I can't hit anyone with these trophies)
2: With the protection on the save games and with how the ps3 itself works. It's way too much work for someone to have a program slice open through the protection, allow you to edit the game then patch it back up to where the ps3 would allow it. Which is nigh-impossible since FF13 has trophies -_-
