Fallout 3 with different area's of the world to discover would be cool.
Like China, did they survive the initial attacks? Or is China a similar wasteland.
What about other countries, did they suffer also?
Would be good fun to find a transport device to take you places Make the game seem larger

The world over has gone to hell. After China and America launched their nukes, the other countries did too, mostly in a panic for self defense. The rest of the world is in a similar state to the continental US.
I really don't think New Vegas would have worked as a Fallout 3 expansion, and don't make me bring up the L4D2 argument again. The player character is different from the one in Fallout 3. You're a courier, and you weren't even born in a Vault. It doesn't even take place in the same area.

What I meant by expansion was that it feels like it's a "we forgot to put that in Fallout 3 so let's put it in a fallout 3 ripoff and sell a whole new game" kind of game.
