Sup Com 2 just updated within steam, now when I use a Trainer it crashes. Doesn't matter if I use the First trainer or the Patch #1 Trainer, the game dies after a few mins.
I don't know if my version got updated in Steam (how can I tell? - I don't see a version num anywhere), but suddenly the trainer doesn't work for me either. It worked fine earlier today.
I ran SC2 Yesterday with Patch #1 Trainer without problem* Today I ran SC2 and Steam updated it, took about 5 mins at 200 kbs to complete update, now Trainers don't work.
* Only problem is a known issue - Invincible Units also turns on Instant Build - VERY annoying, but not the end of the world.
Same problem, I should have diasbled the auto-update on steam so this wouldn't happen like with the first patch. Ah well, hopefully a new trainer is up and running soon.
For those who are asking about the version number of the game, I do not know how to tell what it is with Steam, but the general rule is that if you can boot the game and play, then yes, your game has already updated. Otherwise when you attempt to boot the game, you would get a black box that says "Game is updating and will launch as soon as it's ready."
