Assassin´s Creed II Message Board  

Has anyone figured out how to play this game in windowed mode? I hate playing games in fullscreen...

Things I tried:
- Added Fullscreen=0 to Assassin2.ini
- Alt-Enter
- Alt-Tab
- ctrl+alt+del

All of the above will not work at all, for any games as they are for minimizing or putting a force termination of a program (Ctrl+Alt+Del initializes the Task Manager).

Try command line parameters like -window or -w on your game shortcut.

Like:-

AssassinsCreed2.exe -window

The game can't be windowed via conventional means. If it's running under DirectX9 (XP-) then you may get away with a windowing tool, otherwise if it's under DirectX10 (Vista/7) then they aren't an option either.

Not possible...?!

What kind of sick bastard would do that to me!!??
