Question on Battlefield: Bad Company 2 PC Message Board - Page 1

Are their any bot matches in the game? By that I mean is it open-ended? And is it like the usual Battlefield games or like Modern Warfare 2 in which SP gamers only get 5 hours of gaming pleasure?

single player is as about as good as mw2 maybe less no bot matches

I would estimate it took me 15-18 hours to play the SP campaign. However, I did look around the levels a fair bit, and collected all the weapon "collectibles".

As for levels being generic, the SP campaign takes you from city to jungle to desert.

The MP levels are about the same variety. Urban, Jungle, or Desert combat are your main choices with variations on each.

It definitely competes with MW2. I like BC2 more because there is dedicated server support, although its limited to pre-selected company's rental services.

Basically you can't host your own dedicated server, but you can rent one.

Tt has a story but you're only on a need to know basis so nothing makes sense they did it all for MP that's pretty much it and it took me 3 hours with no cheats to beat it.

Ha...I will not be buying this game now, after seeing that it is only 3hrs long.
