basically on empire you had the fire by rank system and on this one that system seems to be absent, anyone know why? do you have to unlock it?

Different game Its not an add-on. Its a whole (again) new (not brave :P ) Game If you go to their official page and click on Whats New (*****cat) you will find out that manny manny things are different But really i dont see the missing rank system. I believe they make it more realistic.Good fighters arent always the luckiest in combat

yes but it was a tactic at the time, the british were renown for how many shots they could fire a minuate

I'm sure those factors were taken into consideration when they made this game.
