found a good way of getting lots of cash without a trainer

download CoSMOS 5.5, in the top left hand corner there will be a computer icon flashing click that and scroll down to/and select assassins credd 2 exe once selected in the box under value type in current amount of money and click first scan. on the left hand side of the program there will be alot of hex addresses dont do anything with them yet, go back into the game and spend some money or make some the go back to CoSMOS type in new value and click next scan there then should be only 1 address in the left hand column if not keep trying until there is only one. when there is only one address double click on it and in will appear in the bottom box of the program. underneath value double click and change value to 999999 and then click on the box underneath freeze go back into the game either spend or make some money and you will have 999999 cash save game and exit CoSMOS program and you will have a lot of money ,
the address i found to work is 74160640 if you want to click on add address manually and try that

hope this works for everyone else, good luck

The address you mention will not work (It will be rare sight if the game uses static addresses, did it appear in green before you added it?).

There are things called DMA and code-shifting you know! What I would prefer is finding out the code that writes to it, and posting it in the form of (Module Name + Distance From Base), just in case if the game uses code shifting. You can learn how to do this by my tutorial on code-shifting: Link

Or just download CE 5.6, which does that automatically upon adding it on the code-list.

yeh thought as much, but worth a go anyway, and no the code didnt appear in green suprisingly but it was the only one left after doing a few scans so i tried it and it worked, although first time i tried it i didnt turn CE off when i had a load of cash and the game crashed :S ah well, lesson learnt

You know what DMA is? Its a memory allocation in which addresses get changed upon certain routines like leaving from a certain zone, change of level, etc. You need to find an assembly code so that you can fix the issue. Perhaps I will have to link you to the tutorial that explains the basics: Link
