Just got the game today so not aware of how annoyng (if)the turns per year are. I don't know if this will work for Naploeon TW but try the esf turns editor for empire total war.

Just tried it(Esf Editor), went from 1805-1812 to 1805-1840. Took a couple turns and it worked fine.
