At the ignorant person to post American's can all be shot on sight. All I have to say to that is simply: Grow Up.
Someone mentioned that America is infatuated with what we can't have and I can attest that this is very true I wrote a 12 page paper about just this in my last English class.

Uh... The answer to that (at least in my case and just about everyone i know) is a flat NO, we don't. Most of us think Americans are stupid ****s who should be shot on sight. America is nothing but an errant colony, and should be brought to heel.

Anyway I have a friend who is from the UK and he says he tried for like a day to copy our "accents" but got bored.
I'm from South Dakota, but I'm not sure what our type of accent is. I think we sound the same as most Americans... I can only tell between my accent and the typical southern accent.
Vonny is right, that's a badass accent. I really like to try talk that way but every time i was on xbox live talking, others say who is this American dude. >_>
