I saw this online and had to ask it. Do British people sit around and attempt to make American accents (i wouldnt think since british are more sofisticated and honestly id like to live there cus america is become F:censored up)

I don't like people who are too sophisticated (By that I don't mean I hate British). I like people who are simple, easy-to-know.

Being sophisticated will create a different persona, which is not you!

What exactly is an "American" accent.

If you refer to the generic television "non-regional accent", it exists in the wild only in Iowa and west-central Illinois.

These poor people speak English exactly how it is phonetically constructed.

Unlike everyone else who speaks English in the world, for whom proper phonemes are few and far between.

Uh... The answer to that (at least in my case and just about everyone i know) is a flat NO, we don't. Most of us think Americans are stupid ****s who should be shot on sight. America is nothing but an errant colony, and should be brought to heel.
