I know it has only been a few months since the phenomenon Modern warfare 2 was released but I would like to talk about the next installment, i heard treyarch will be doing number 7 and they are going to be basing it in vietnam. please if any of you have any info about cod 7 or you have any ideas post them here

Well, if it's by Treyarch it's going to suck. And it better take a different tack than all of the other crappy Vietnam games or else it'll suck even more.
They should do a game in Korea. It's untouched dramatic territory.
But, then again with Korea they won't have many movies to copy--and Call of Duty has always been a game ripped from movies (just as the Medal of Honor games have always been reenactments of Medal of Honor citations).
Expect to recognize cliched scenes from Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Apocalypse Now, Hamburger Hill and so on.

you have a good point,i did love those films tho, and atleast treyarch and kind of good at stopping hackers (i think)

i agree. almost all Vietnam based games have been horrible at best.Korea is an option that's hardly been explored either with games or with movies. they'd be better off seriously exploring Korea for COD7.

the only game i can think of that has north korea in it is mercenaries 1, the worlds most boring game, its always raining nd you have to spend 3 hours driving around just to find the deck of 52, i hope it would be much better than that

Korea as in the Korean War. 1950-1953, technically still going on. North invades the South, gets kicked out by the UN, UN invades the North, gets kicked out by the Chinese...

I'm not sure if its true but i was told the next CoD would be called Call of Duty: Black Ops
