People are saying that this game is very confusing, the controls and story? I was wondering wether i would buy it, but i would like some information about it from people who own it on these boards, So, Is it really confusing, Are the controls bad? Or is it great?
Controls can be confusing, it took me a bit to get used to them. Alien sucks, the toggle to wall-climb is horrible, but aside from that the controls are pretty easy to get used too. Story is AvP, it also carried some things from the first movie over with it, which was interesting. Not really great, but it isn't bad, a relatively good experience and I don't regret purchasing it...I regret purchasing it from Steam and having to spend two days downloading it...

then get a 360 joystick problem solved. i had to problems using keyboard or joystick.

I don't want a 360 controller, regardless of what you think...the wall-climb is horrid by design, even 360 owners are throwing complaints out about it. There are more then just my own personal complaint on this, it is a rather large issue that affects a lot of people. I was just giving a fair view of the game, as he asked.
Actually, there's a simple fix for the Epic Fail that is Wall-Climb Toggling.
Go to Options > Control > Turn ON Alien-Auto Transition.
Muuuuuch better. Certainly more fluid, anyway. Makes the Alien PLAYABLE which, let's face it, with toggle-wall-climb, it was NOT. (Note: I don't know if this option is available for XBOX 360 [probably isn't...])
Actually, the game surprised me with how good it wound up being. I had abyssal expectations, especially since I LOVED AvPGold/2000. So far my only real complaints are related to the failtastic Ranked Match setup. Where the HELL is my lobby?! PLAYER Match has it, but not Ranked? Why?
Also, I had my Rank progress get mysteriously reverted back to rank one after the game crashed trying to get into a Multiplayer Game. Yeah, 10 Ranks out the friggin' window. KINDA ****ed about that.
But other than those issues and the ...weak... Story Mode/Campaign, damned solid game.
. Also, I got stuck on the ceiling and becomes shooting target for the remote machine gun.
