your missing the 4 solutions is to delete the hole game and reinstalling it that will fix the F1 problem. I just test it 5 min before posting this message with the Raz Ver...
And if you still have problem use the short-cut that Raz windows pop up after you finish installing the game.
And still after all of that and still have the same problem i recommend you just give up.
My problem seems to be a bit different. I get the proper sound cues when I activate the trainer and its options but none of the options seem to work. I've tried all of the trouble shooting tips with no luck. This seems to be the case if I load a save game or start a new game, so I assume a save file would be no help.
I'm using the steam trainer with a retail copy of the game. Running XP.

In my case the trainer works perfectly for the marine missions, aside from the game crashing at certain points.
The only thing I am having trouble with is the predator missions, particularly the energy option.
