I get exactly the same issue. the trainer works a charm but bosses are invincible too. e.g. Elite Predator and Weyland in the Marine missions. Switching off the trainer/not loading the trainer after reloading the game doesn't help either.

AVP was updated again yesterday (22/03/2010) and I was wondering if someone who had tried the latest STEAM trainer version within the past week could confirm if it does/doesn't work still.
I'm asking this because it doesn't work for me and I want to know if I should keep trying to get it to work or if it's just no longer compatible

The trainer will make the game crash when I start a new game, just after the intro video.

It's not working on the new version.

I am having the same problem.
my OS: Win 7 64bt, Steam version of game, direct x 9, i can get the game running and started and when i press f1 I hear "activated" and even the number keys make the "on/off" sounds, but the game crashes at certain points and does not work or give me the infinite health/ammo for the marine missions.
Thoughts?

Yeah, due to the game update, they need to correct the trainer accordingly. Give them a few days guys, it isn't easy with the anti-cheat code built in to the game. I just hope they resolve the bug where the bosses are made invincible when you make yourself invincible while they're fixing it.

That's what I thought. Keep us posted guys, can't wait to get it working again.

Ok, I can get the Trainer #3 to work with the Game patch of March 22, 2010. While running the first Marine mission, the trainer functions were working fine but as soon as I had to manipulate a game object with the use key, the game crashes to desktop. So far I've had the game crash on while opening the First door you encounter that you need to open manually and while flipping the first and second breaker switch you come across.

I was using DX9 to play.

Found another two moments when the game will crash because of cheat detection. When you pick up ammo, had it happen when pickup up grenades for the pulse rifle. Also happened when I tried to pick up another weapon.

I guess an anti-cheat every time you need to do something with the use key.
