The downloaded trainer 1.5 does not work for me. When i run the game and hit F1(as instructed) I get the "trainer activated" sound, but none of the cheat options work. Whenever hit next turn in the game with the trainer on, the game crashes.The game runs perfectly fine without the trainer. The strange thing though is that the promo trainer (with just the money option) works fine with no problems. Could it be that somehow the promo is not allowing the full version to work. Can somebody help me?
system: windows vista home premium 64-bit intel core duo p7450 2.13ghz nvidia
Try disabling your antivirus or any other program that could interfere with your trainer.
It should be the latest one, as steam auto-updates any games that you have for steam. It's probably worth checking that you've got auto-update turned on. If not you really should update your game fully.

When you get a new trainer or a new programme of any king you should always uninstall any previous editions, other wise they have a tendency to conflict with each other.
However if that fails you should follow the advice of NobleCrusader.
Hi CrazyBoy225, as from what i can see on here ive been having the same problems, ive resently bought empire total war, and i think it's amazing! but i'd also like to use a trainer with it too!
ive tried downloading all sorts, and i do at it says, press F1 on the start menu, and i get the audio comfirmation, but when i start the game, i get to 1/4% loaded and then the game crashes!
could you please help me, in what to do.!!
i have the version through steam, is that much of a problem?
and in the bottom left corner of the start menu it says that it's version 1.5 1332.21992
You should always make sure that the trainer that u use says that it works with steam too, for obvious reasons really. And set your trainer to run as an administrator, other wise it won't work.

Trainers are rarely made to run on steam as well as retail, because steam doesn't like it, i think.
And i agree, it's a truely awsome game and i dont suppose that u have a solution for my other problem? (See last posts).
