Maybe the big upset of the prelims will be USA over Canada.

hmm idk that might cause the mass suicide of million of canucks, I say give them hockey and curling just to keep 'em happy.

Slovakia defeated Russia in Shootout.

That was an epic game, seriously good competition. Hiller is one awesome goalie.

I need to update the medals count, but Yahoo's Olympics Blog is maintaining a "real" medals count--one which excludes judged events.

And in it, the US still has the most medals, but has fewer golds than Germany and Norway.

It'll be on MSNBC (the cable news channel) in the US, since NBC seems to think that ice dancing will draw a bigger crowd.

Just 4 hours till the match. I've been waiting for this for awhile now.

Ugh, this is painful to watch. They're so sloppy, they're getting better but still not where they should be. And that one goal they did get was really raggedy.

They just can't seem to get passing down. Too many times passes totally miss or they just get intercepted. Sadly I'm not surprised, they were just like this against Switzerland.
