    USA Wins!

That was a game of EPIC goaltending and team sacrifice. More shots on goal than should be allowed, and more blocked shots in one game than you see in an entire season of NHL hockey.

And Canada hands Russia the smackdown. Seriously, I never imagined they'd win by such a huge amount. I was expecting a single goal lead, maybe 2.

I just order a 2010 Team Canada jersey from icejerseys.com. It's the white version, customized for Iginla. Pretty big hit to the bank account though, $238.35 Canadian.

Guess I'll have to push that $200 AUTOart Koenigsegg back another month.

A German bobsled just flipped. The riders look fine tough, thank God. The brake fell out the back and the driver managed to stay low enough to stay on the sled and not get hurt.

I don't want a big car, particularly. I have no need for acreage, and I don't like the fuel bills. But I don't want a small one because they're all like supermarket own-brand cola: weedy imitations of the real thing - Jeremy Clarkson

And literally minutes after that awesome hockey game Canada gets a Gold AND a Silver in bobsleigh.

    What an awesome night.

And we win the Gold in womens hockey. Not that there was any possible doubt that this is how it would end anyways.

Tomorrow we'll crush Slovakia. Then on Sunday we show America what we can really do now that our lines are sorted out.

And the team was so excited that they're being chastised by their own hockey federation for being *******s.

    Edit: Link

Edit2: Look for their medals to be stricken, because hockey is still one of the few places that pretends it cares about sportsmanship--unless you represent X amount of jersey sale revenues...because then you can do anything. And womens hockey represents 0% of jersey sales, since no one even makes womens jerseys.

I heard about that on the radio when I woke up. They were smoking cigars and drinking on the ice even though a bunch of them aren't even of drinking age yet. Pretty unclassy to be honest, but like Yahoo said there's been way worse at the Olympics.

I think the worst part of this was that everyone has been saying that the women are role models for girls all across Canada. That's not much of a role model thing to do.

As for the jerseys, you'd have to order a custom embroidered one.

If the men's team did the same thing, Gary Bettman would make sure there would be no penalty for them from either the IOC or the IIHF--since the men's team accounts for like 50% of all NHL jersey sales.
