Indeed. I think that most of the blogs with large numbers of subscribers blend all three together, and also do so in entertaining ways. Some also throw comics into the mix and seem to focus on comics, but don't totally exclude the three options on the poll.
Or you could do what I did to get craploads of subscribers--do a trivia quiz game thingy.
