British people aren't a "race" by any definition, so being against everyone who isn't British can't be racism. You're discriminating based on a perception of nationality, not a perception of race.
And besides, discrimination, even based on skin color, isn't necessarily racism. Racism is the belief that one or more race is inherently superior, or one or more is inherently inferior.
If I want my town to be all native americans, and I don't allow anyone else in, I am not necessarily being racist. I'm being discriminatory. I haven't made any statements or actions which would lead a rational person to assume that I consider anyone superior or inferior to anyone else.
You had a discussion with a common bigot, not a racist.
It's somehow disingenuous to credit a run-of-the-mill bigot with having the refined intellect which is required to grasp what race is and therefore to be a racist.

You seem to have cherry picked certain words from my post and wrote a conclusion of them. Your response is almost completely irrelevant.
Sometimes it seems like you want to show how much information you have on a certain topic rather than actually address the presented content. I am not posing an issue, I never called anyone a racist nor did I say that British people are a race.
