This girl supports the BNP, that's the back-story of this conversation.

What about people who’ve grown up in Britain from a very young age, but aren’t, as the BNP would term it, “ethnically British”? When you repatriated them, don’t you think the BNP should first give them intensive lessons in speaking, for example, the Ghanaian language, and learning the skills of an agriculturally-based society?
No. I don’t think so. Just send them back. I know that sounds really evil…

OK, what if Ghana, or wherever, decrees that these immigrants are now Britain’s responsibilty – that they no longer have the right to live in Ghana. Do you think war with Ghana would be justified to force the issue, or would you simply propose a system of gradually-raised trade sanctions, possibly with the aid of a UN mandate?
I wouldn’t do the war, ‘cos I’m against war. Er, the other one…

When people say the BNP is a fascist party, what do you think?
Fascist – I don’t understand that word.

Think of Nazi Germany, or 1930s Italy.
I can’t even remember when that happened really, but I’m against them anyway.

You’re against who?
The Germans. I know that sounds evil… I was brought up that way.

But not the Nazis?
No, I don’t agree with that at all.

What’s the best thing about living in Britain today?
I hate Britain, and I want to move to Spain in the next couple of years, ‘cos our country’s not England anymore. It’s very rare for English people to live here anymore. When I went to Lanzarote, I felt more English there than I do here, and that’s no exaggeration.

But won’t you then be an immigrant too?
Yeah but the answer to that is I would go over to their country and respect their country. I wouldn’t go over there and try and do suicidal bombs. The immigrants that come over to this country should be making this a good country and proud of it and helping this country, but most of them don’t.

What do you think symbolises Britain best?
Well, I used to know Britain as strong, and over the past couple of years, I don’t know if I’ve grown up, but I’ve seen it going soft. The memory I have is the war, and how we fighted [sic] all the people in WWI and WWII, and it makes me proud to be British.

If you needed a liver transplant, would you be willing to have a black liver transplanted into your body?
No.

What about a black spleen?
Actually, it’s probably all the same, isn’t it?

What about a black brain?
What do you mean?

Well, would you be able to love an adopted black baby?
This is gonna sound really racist, but probably not.

What if it arrived pre-trained to know your name and various other useful facts about you?
No.

OK, here’s a philosophical dilemma. A terrorist is holding a plane hostage. There are three hundred people on there. But they’re all old, like about sixty; which isn’t to say they don’t have a fair bit of life left in them. Now, the terrorist informs you that you either shoot the baby and 300 people can live or 300 people must die but the baby can live. Which do you choose?
I’d probably choose the baby because it’s got its whole life to live.

Yeah, but technically you’ve rubbed out 6000 years to save maybe 80.
No, I’d still choose the baby.

The baby is black.
Still the baby.

The baby is half-Asian.
Still the baby.

The baby is half-reptilian.
What do you mean?

Well, there we go.

British people aren't a "race" by any definition, so being against everyone who isn't British can't be racism. You're discriminating based on a perception of nationality, not a perception of race.

And besides, discrimination, even based on skin color, isn't necessarily racism. Racism is the belief that one or more race is inherently superior, or one or more is inherently inferior.

If I want my town to be all native americans, and I don't allow anyone else in, I am not necessarily being racist. I'm being discriminatory. I haven't made any statements or actions which would lead a rational person to assume that I consider anyone superior or inferior to anyone else.

You had a discussion with a common bigot, not a racist.

It's somehow disingenuous to credit a run-of-the-mill bigot with having the refined intellect which is required to grasp what race is and therefore to be a racist.

You seem to have cherry picked certain words from my post and wrote a conclusion of them. Your response is almost completely irrelevant.

Sometimes it seems like you want to show how much information you have on a certain topic rather than actually address the presented content. I am not posing an issue, I never called anyone a racist nor did I say that British people are a race.

This topic is light-hearted.

What the hell are you talking about? Did I quote your post? Are you so self-absorbed that you must assume every post is directed at you?

If you expect people to have relevant comments, don't post it in the off-topic and then ***** about it.

Seriously.
