    I would have to agree with Mass Effect there, one of the greatest franchises to date in my opinion.

    No.

    Bioware's best games are RPGs, and their amazing adaptation of D&D rules for computer games.

    And I argue that ME2 is NOT an RPG.

    It's a new take on the 90's Interactive Movie genre.

    There's no inventory management, an experience/skill/leveling system which is so watered down as to not even be worth mentioning, watered down this and that.

    It's an interactive movie.

    And it is fantastic.

    We should applaud it for rebirthing the genre in GLORIOUS fashion.
    In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'

    Well games can be more than one genre. If Mass Effect isn't an RPG, it's damn near.
