hi there i also found it hard to evolve but if u go on utube then type something like this how to evolve on pokemon mystery dungeon sky or time something like that and people have done how to evolve but u need a certin pokemon i saw a person who had a palkia or diagla or something like that.

To envolve you need to beat darkrai, then beat palkia again until you recruit him an he will let you envolve.
