Mass Effect 2 Message Board  

I have the original retail version of the game. It runs fine without trainer. But after i installed it id make it about a half hour and the colors would go nuts and the game would lock forcing me to reboot with no error code. If i manage to get out of the game when the colors start before locking up and restart trainer and game it happens much sooner. Any ideas?

Gee, no solutions yet for random crashing?

one thing i noticed during one of my earliest play-throughs was that the game crashed on loading over-written save games. which is y i started creating new save games everytime i saved. try that if u haven't already.

I am running windows xp (service pack 3 I think)

I start the game and enable the trainer, load a save game. No problems. Get into the game, enable the infinite health (me and squad) options along with no reload and infinite ammo. Sometimes I use the resource cheats and credit cheats.

I crash after a loading screen. It has occured in the following areas:

Pragia (help Jack)
Citadel
Tuchanka

And nowhere else comes to mind. Have tried both 1.1 and 1.0 trainers, and disabled AV.

I'll keep you posted if I manage to fix the problem, and if you need anymore info please ask.

My game crashes when I press F1 in the main menu or on the loaded game.

Same here, tried running the trainer as an administrator-same thing happened. I had a little luck with the 1.1 version but it would freeze in the middle of one of the early cut scenes-afraid it might do that at other points as well and this thread seems to show that the trainer is particularly unstable.

Hoping that since I'm playing on the easiest mode in the game that the trainer won't even be entirely necessary for me. :/

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit btw.

Also, I own the downloaded version of the game from EA-got it with a 25% discount they gave me for my birthday.

The trainer crashes ME2 the moment I hit f1 to activate... in the initial menu, in the game, everywhere... and immediately. Vista 64

If anyone wants, I can mod the file for ME2 to have any cheat you like.
