So I guess my fears were right you can't just bypass a lock and open something by using something like omnigel instead you have to play the stupid minigame! ACCHH!!!!! Please tell me it isn't so!!!

Are you guys serious?

The mini-games are sooo freaking easy it's not even funny. There's only 2 different types of mini-games that I bet 6 year olds could do.

1) You match symbols with symbols, it takes me roughly 20 seconds to do one of these and there's only like 2-3 per map that you actually have to unlock.

2) There's a "hacking" mini-game where you have to match code, it's basically like match the colors and 3rd graders can do that crap.

Finally, you don't even have to do but a few on each map, if there's a number on the top, that means it gives credits and since you have a credits options in the trainer, you can just exit out of it. The ones that actually give you weapon upgrades or are critical doors consist of only a few on each level and it's hardly noticeable.

So seriously, especially to some of the people in this thread, don't speculate before you actually receive the game lol, the mini-games are soooo freaking easy.

All is not lost. I heard that you can Purchase upgrades at stores which double the time you have to complete these mini games. So I guess if you are really bad at them, you can purchase those upgrades. With tons of time, you really should be able to get it.

Gotta agree. Completed game in 33h with plenty of time exploring and I'm sorry to say that Spoiler:
you need every ship upgrade you can get to beat the game so
you have to do them. Not to mention it's a great way to get extra credits, either the same as funded or sometimes higher. Weapon upgrades, ship, tech, armor pieces. All can be found through hacking or bypassing. The games as mentioned are a simple symbol match that is beyond easy and a 3 part matching "code sequence" that requires .. more matching the picture. Even without the time boosting upgrades by mid-game you can do any of them in 10-15 seconds, some hacks I cleared in (timed by a stop watch) 7 seconds.
