Just got the game today, the Gamer's Choice version, With steam, and umm. It works perfectly but i still lag a bit. When im driving, i it gets frozen for like 0.50 secs and then goes back on to driving. How do i install patches?? or does it steam patches it automaticly? Its a good game, but i have to play on quite low settings.

this is not about RAM issue its Windows 7 making the game faster and unstable frame rate just like Red Faction Guerrilla but RFG has new patch for Windows 7 Frame Rate Fix, Saints Row 2? i don't know i tried patch1 and patch2 still haven't solve the problem but using CoSMOS and with little adjustment on SpeedHack should do the trick

i recomend you to play it on high settings not max settings and then you can enjoy the game without any lag or ....

Ok guys requirement doesn't matter for this game there is always problem of Framing and other graphical problem.

well because: game engine is not so powerful and some scenses are hard to render for it so we have framing problems

not to mention this game was a very unoptimised port from xbox.

what that means is that it renders and processes game code in a very inefficient manner, so it takes more time than it usually would to do things.
