Hello everybody! I'd like to try making a trainer to disable the strike teams in prototype. If you're familiar with TSearch, that's what I've been using to try to pinpoint the variable used to enable/disable them. I'm thinking I might be using the wrong memory-searching program, because aren't all newer games using memory addresses that constantly change?

Anyway, what I tried doing was searching for a variable that shifted back and forth between 0 and 1 when you destroy a military base. When you destroy a base, you get a few minutes where no npcs can call in a strike team. To me that seems like the best variable to lock to prevent them from being called.

I also tried looking for a timer that increments or decrements after destroying a base, a variable indicating that an npc was calling a strike, and countless hours worth of pointless memory-scanning.

Will TSearch even allow me to find my precious variable in Prototype, or what should I be using instead? What would allow me to find a variable who's address changes like in modern games? (tsearch is 11 years old now, isn't it?)

Do you think it's likely that I'll ever be able to pinpoint and lock that variable, or should I give it up? Anyone think of a better variable to hunt for and lock that would yield the same result?

Thanks for any and all advice!
