actually i have a dual core computer and it runs fine on there too. i tested it on both. but that could be just lucky me, i actually know quite a few games that i can not run in quad core, splinter cell double agent has a issue with it, i dunno why, but its easy fixable.

Yes, I have a 2.88 quad and a dual 260 gtx 8gb ram and so on. and it runs almost flawless on high.. but if i throw it on advanced and theres to much gun fire and explosions it gets kinda jumpy.. but that dew to the fact that i decreased the clock speeds of my gpus for temperature reasons!
so yes it would be hard to play without eather a quad or a core 2 duo 3.0ghz with at least dual sli gpus. you could play it!

ok then don't buy it they put almost no effort into the single player for battlefield. the game is designed for multiplayer!
