I have read on these message boards that most people are under the impression that the best staff in the game is either Winters Breath and The Torch of Embers. Although i am yet to find the later of the two the is anoter that was mentioned caled Staff of the Magister Lord. While both have the same stats Winters Breath doesnt have as many attributes as the Staff of the Magister Lord. They are as follows.
Both Staffs have Dragon Bone (Tier 7) Damage 6.40 Armor Penetration 40.00 Spell power 7
Attributes
Staff of the Magister Lord Winters Breath +6 Spell Power +3 Spell Power +2 Mana +25% Cold Resistance +6 Will Power +10% Cold Damange +10% Fire Damage Radiats Cold +10% Spirit Damage
In my oppinion the Staff of the Magister Lord is far better but also cost about 128 Gold which isnt cheap not sure what i paid for Winter Breath now though as i got it early on in the game. If anyone has the stats for the Torch of Embers staff can you post them please. As always if you think you have a better staff post its stats too so we can compare them..
First off, There is a staff called Winter's Breath and one called Wintersbreath (no '). its the one word staff that has the +3 Spellpower.
Torch of Ember staff stats are Require 20 Magic Damage 4.80 Armor Penetration 28 Range 52 Spellpower 3 +10 Fire Resistence +3 Spellpower +10 Fire damage
i didnt know there was 2 staffs with the same name which is kinda weird but from the looks of things though the Staff of the Magister Lord Is still better stats wise but im guessing it also depends on what magic your using to what atts you want on it. Thanks for showing me the torch of embers stats.
If anyone knows of any other staffs in the game that are good let me know or any other weapon for that matter.
