Since DOW is continuing to stick with STEAM that just about does it for me. Will I be buying the new game when it is released a very empahatic HELL NO!!!! I hate steam games. I changed email address in DOW 2 and those idiots never could get my new email straightened out to where I could get on line again. I couldn't download the upgrade or do anything. I stay with the older versions they're a lot better at least to me and whoever published DOW games now can take their game and shove it far as it will go.

LOL. I'm no fan of steam but I still wouldn't let that stop me from getting DOW2:Chaos Rising. Even though steam sucks, the title looks very good and I'm looking forward to it.

Don't let steam ruin it for you is all I have to say

Yeah I agree with steam part but DOW2 on steam wasn't such a bad one though.

I will still get DOW2:Chaos Rising, but I will buy retail rather from Steam.

So your not going to play DoWII or chaos rising because of steam...

someone give him the dunce hat and send him to the front row.. this one deserves it.

Oh and just so you know GFWL is more of a better reason to not play DoWII or chaos rising.. but still neither are very good reasons to NOT play this amazing RTS

Steam is fine as platform and in recent years has been improved a lot. Now what bugs me about DOW2 is that I have to log into Steam and Windows Live Games. Devs should pick one or the other but not both. . .

I use to hate Steam but now it is growing on me. With Fiber Optics Connections downloading game is no longer a problem. Plus now I don't have to worry where I put my UFO Afterlight CD 10 years down the line XD

That might not change the protection, it still might need STEAM, the original DOW II also needed STEAM despite being the RETAIL version, the only advantage you gonna get is that you won't have to download the whole game, just the updates.

Life is best for those who enjoy it, difficult for those who analyze it and worst for those who criticize it.

I personally think that Steam is great. It has improved a ton over its original release and I buy most of my games from Steam. Keeping DVD's is a thing of the past.
