    ok got the event list open found gunpowder_discovered
    event historic
    date 2 4
    then way down towards the bottom
    but that one has date 210 220

    do i change both im confused found it off of a website to change it instead of 164 to 1 that guy is off too lol because there is no 164

    Change the 2, 4, 210, and 220 to 1. It'll give you the ability to research and upgrade to cannons after the first turn is over.
