When I download the trainer, I extract it and the only file there is the readme file. This has happened before, and it's the antivirus that gets rid of the file super quick without my authorization. The only thing is, I have disabled the anti virus and tried extracting and it still happens.
I believe it must be wonderful Windows 7 at work, however I can't figure out how to get this to work? Help please?

No its your antivirus that must be falsely detecting a trainer as a virus and deleting it automatically. Disable it, extract the zip file and then add the Trainer to the exclusions list to re-enable your antivirus.

I know. But I think it's messed up. Windows Defender is saying my firewall is being handled by Norton (Yes, I know, Norton is unfortunate) however Norton isn't actually open in my processes and I cannot get it to open. I double click the icon and it loads for a second then nothing happens.
So Windows won't let me change Firewall settings and I can't change them through Norton.

I am having a stranger problem, and only with this particular trainer; I cannot seem to extract it anywhere. It appears to have done so in winRAR, but there is no trainer file present anywhere where I attempt to extract it to. Unless there is something vastly different with this particular trainer, there would be no conflict with anti-spyware/virus software, having previously downloaded both public releases and unlimited-only trainers recently.

Try reinstalling winrar or redownloading the trainer
Tried that a couple times already with identical results. Unfortunately due to the small size of the trainer, I also can't tell if there is some sort of hiccup with the attempt (where larger files would have obvious uncompressing progress showing while WinRAR works) due to how quickly it normally works anyway with any other file of this size. No errors or anything come up either.
i have tryed this just way a day or so and u can re download but remember to close ur internet fully first (when on laptop) do not just put it on standby with site open close site and next day retry from start with opening a net site if that doesn't work try wait another day it usually helps this never failed for me ^^
