Here is the explanation in youtube, it works offline and you have to remove the patch by clearing your cache.

maybe you can create a new profile and send the money to your online account? Should be safe if you have another console so they don't track both profiles on the same console i don't know.
I've read in yt that some people do it, i cannot test because i only have live silver.

send ing money to another account worked fine for me in FM2, I cheated up 20 milion and then i sold som cars to my self via auction house

another glitch would be press the X button & the brake @ the same time to slow down alot faster
