Hey, if this has been posted before then please ignore the following.
Everytime, I'm in a thread and I skip to the last page, by using the very convenient "Last Page" button, I think to myself: Hm, it would be really easy if we would have a first page button as well.
Just a little idea, thanks!

At the bottom of the thread page, you can select any page within the thread you want. While not as conveniently placed as the button you propose, it does do the same thing.

Ah yes I see, than the only reason for this button to be useful would be its' placing indeed. I guess it's only a small addition anyway
