King´s Bounty: Armored Princess Message Board  

I still haven't figured out how to use the item cheat in the game. I've played KB The Legend aswell, and in that either, I couldn't get the item cheat to work. If anyone could help me some, I'd be apreciated. All the other cheats are working just fine, this is the only one which is not working for me.. :S

Ok, found out how to use item cheat. I'll try to explain it promptly and shortly.


1. Get 7Zip or WinRAR
2. Go to your game dir and locate to "/session/addon" folder
3. There you see "loc_ses.ksf" file, extract it using 7Zip or WinRAR (You just need 1 file from it, if you want to do it this way its fine, but the file you're looking for is called "eng_items.lng"
4. Once you got the file extracted, use notepad or such to open it
5. There you see loads of text, but the thing you need to look for is this:
//==== king_axe_d33 <- The item code
itm_king_axe_d33_name=Axe of Lightning. Class III<- The item name
itm_king_axe_d33_hint=^?^A perfect Axe, humming quietly with electrical energy, being endowed with the fearsome power of Lightning.
+5 Attack
+10% chance of Critical Hit
+20% to power of the spell 'Lightning'
itm_king_axe_d33_info=^?^This axe is crackling with electrical energy, and grants its master power over lightning storms.
itm_king_axe_d33_mhint=^?^
itm_king_axe_d33_minfo=^?^
itm_king_axe_d33_taken=^?^
6. Now to spawn your "Axe of Lightning. Class III" go ingame and use this cheat: item king_axe_d33
7. And so forth, hope this helps anyone who also would like to use this cheat.
