I left home. Or ran away. You choose. I hitchhiked. I met a guy who told me he loved me, then he stole all my money and left me alone. I lived with a couple who said they'd always wanted a daughter. They housed me for three weeks. They let me go after that, and I took a bus. On the bus I noticed an old woman had a ton of stuff and no help. So I helped her get her stuff off the bus into her house. She told me my clothes were icky so she gave me some of her granddaughters old clothes. She was a nice woman. She taught me how to swing dance.
She then called me a cab and gave me some cash. "I'm old, I don't need it anyway." was what she said. I thanked her with a hug, and left. I told the cabdriver to take me anywhere. He took me to a bar. I paid him and got out.
I then walked in, only to realize I had no ID. Some random guy bought me a drink so I talked to him for a while. he was terrible at talking.
I left the bar and began walking down the street. I saw a familiar car, It was Elle. She picked me up and brought me to her home. She didn't ask why I left. She simply made me some soup. I just woke up from a very long nap in a comfortable bed.
I never thought I'd have an adventure.

I talked to a Janitor at my High School once and he told me his son spent the summer after he graduated hitchhiking across America. He started in California and made his way to Florida by the end. My friend and I seriously thought about it, but the plan fell through. Damn responsibilities.
