HELP! Guys I get a weird bug. In the Gulag mission, the team freezes and does not move, also, the first set of gates in the prison do not get opened. In one case, one of the team sits at a laptop and says it will take some time to find the target. Problem is, after 23 hours of waiting (real life time!!!) still gates will not open. I tried again restarting the mission, and now the guys wont move and the one needed to sit at the laptop doesnt do it anymore! Ideas? Can it be the trainer?

Well, have you tried doing that without trainer!?

Try reinstalling the game, it might fix the problem. Also it might help if you tell us what version of the game you have.

And seriously 23 hours?! I would've waited one hour max.

I know the place ... I remember having to have a riot shield for ages in it ... see if it works if you just keep bashing people ("E" or "F" as far as I remember could be wrong) some script for opening the first door flooked up for me at that point when I didnt have the shield equipped ... So now I just bash people till I get to the rope

Also 23 hours ... why??... what were you .. ?? ... Ahh Im sure you had your reasons lol

Simply I let the PC on all the time. I went about my business and checked from time to time...
Tried without, no joy.
my version of the game is the latest, as it updates automatically from steam.
also, why do we need to be forced to install the game under steam-only? The SP part of the game doesnt need steam as steam is mostly to play MP games, right?
Oh well, reinstalling 12GB is not funny...
Will try some more, restarting the mission, etc. etc. Sometimes the guy sits at the PC (nothing happens) sometimes not. I guess it will solve itself with the next patch.

Ok, solved it. Enabling BOTH * and 1 together, unlim. health and one-hit kill, does two things: disables in some instances the AI so that game locks AND causes you to be killed even if you should not die.

I just turned one-hit kill off, and all is working.

Hope this helps some guys with the same or similar problem.

I have another problem in the same mission, and i am also playing it on pc. However in the beginning of the mission, after you sniped some enemies from a helicopter, after the helicopter landed, i was unable to move and jump. I could sprint, but only the animation would come, but am still not able to move. I have tried to restart the mission, and re-installing the game. I have experienced the same glitch in mw3 multiplayer on ps3. Anyone know what i should do? (And sorry, Peterthefish, for not being able to answer your question.)
