So the game is being sold for 2,49 eur on steam, and i thought i might give it a go, but since i'm no rts fan(like, at all), i will be needing a trainer to have a good hour of playing and not just getting frustrated.
But since i've seen no steam-dedicated version of the trainer and some people having trouble with the game on steam and the trainer, i thought i would ask people here if they're only the ecceptions and the trainer works with the steam version of the game for all other people.
Cheers.

Most of the trainers work with steam...if there is not a specific steam trainer version, there is most likely no need. Also, MTW2 is not an RTS...it is a war simulation. It has elements of an rts, but is not.

As far as i'm concerned, a game doesn't have to be an AoE clone to be called a Real Time Strategy game, it only needs to be a strategy game and to be in real time, although i might be wrong on this last part, regarding the Total War series.

The Total War series are turn based strategy, since only the battles are in real time
