I was wondering what happens after getting the super RDX explosive upgrade/perk.
Larger explosion radius? or can I let them explode from far far away?

THe explosion radius and blast effect grows bigger. Normal RDX needs about 4-5 to KO a Wulf tank. Super RDX needs only 2. In weapon terms its the same as the difference between a panzerfaust and a panzershrek.

I have the perk unlocked but I do not see any Super RDX in the store. Is the the 3rd pipe bomb looking object on the right in inventory? Is it a glitch or some reason I dont have it?

i read on the official forum that there is indeed a bug with the super RDX, once you ran out of it (or die), it's gone forever.

Yea i died during the mission where i got the perk, just dandy. I never got to check it out.

The super-RDX explosive is an upgrade, the name still calls it RDX but it has the upgraded damage & range. That third slot you see with the timers is for another very special explosive type that you unlock later in the game to blow up specific target types. I'm trying not to spoil it for anyone, but once you get it, it's really a lot of fun to use! BA-BOOM!!!

No it doesn't call it RDX. It's upgraded automatically, yes, but there's a bug. If you die or if you ever stop playing and then reload a save file - you permanently lose Super RDX (which appears in the gun smugglers menu as "Super RDX".

There's a bug with Super RDX. I keep numerous save files and after completing Blockbuster I noticed that when I reloaded my game after the perk, Super RDX just disappeared.

The gun smugglers will have "Super RDX" on their menu in place of "RDX" after you earn the perk - but not if you die or ever turn the game off.

I've gone back to my files and redone the perk numerous times. Even if you buy the gold perk upgrade instead of destroying 3 Wulf Tanks, it's still the same. And since the Perk List shows Super RDX as being completed, I don't see how you can ever earn the thing again - even if they do come up with a patch to fix the bug.

And yes, the explosions look significantly different (Super RDX looks like setting off 3 RDXs at the same time).

Your RDX is upgraded automatically when you earn the perk (gun smugglers all immediately start selling Super RDX in place of RDX), so it's not like there's anything to activate. It just looks like a really disappointing bug.

On my main save file I have 2 of 3 Wulfs destroyed, but in order to get the Panzershrek I have to destroy a Wulf and a Zeppelin. So either I wait for Pandemic to release a patch before getting the Panzershrek (not freakin' likely since EA shut down Pandemic a couple of weeks ago), or I get the Panzershrek and reconcile myself to losing Super RDX. Sucks.
