Here are simpler steps to add/delete stuff in a savedgame file with the Editor(MAKE SURE TO BACKUP THE FILES BEFORE YOU SAVE ANYTHING).

Start your mission(in-game) save ASAP(remember the name).
Start the Editor open the same mission in F3(Missions) mode, make all your changes and "save-as"(name it anything). Make sure you don't "overwrite" the "0.mi", that's the original.

Now locate the files, these are the paths on my PC,
    F:\game install here\men of war\Men of War\resource\map\single\1 (Editor)

    C:\Users\jim\Documents\my games\men of war\profiles\player\save (in-game)

Open both files with notepad(MAKE SURE TO BACKUP BOTH FILES BEFORE YOU SAVE ANYTHING)
"select-all" on both files, then copy and paste the Editor file into the in-game file then save the in-game file. If done right when you load that savedgame mission you should see your changes. I've done this a lot so I know it works, if it's not working for you, you've done something wrong, also when you change stuff sometimes you get glitches and/or CTD.

I had to sign up to this forum just to say thank you, kane1.
I had some troubles because I'm new to the game and editor (1 week).

Men of War is really a great game. Reminds me of C&C Generals.

I also got it from Steam, which makes it hard to find things. If anyone needs help with the Steam game I think I can assist.
I'm running it on a PC with XP Pro.
The paths are nothing like when you install the game from a dvd.

Anyway, the saved game worked nicely. I tested it on the second mission; protect the town while they load the train. What a pain.
Then after I loaded the saved game, the percent counter went to 160%, until I got tired of playing.
After looking at the triggers, I have to clean out the town of all Germans, not just hold them off, it seems.

That's cool of you! Your welcome! I've been trying to tell gamers about this kind of stuff since SHoWW2. The "MoW" games are so much fun just the way you get them, but being able to change stuff makes them

Kane1 I've worked myself into a mighty rage trying to access to GEM Editor save files.

You say that your computer has F:/Install Game Here/ Pathway, Well I don't even have F:/ !! I only have the DVD, CD, and C: Pathways. I've searched through heaven and Earth and I simply cannot find the game editor save files.

    You might try this,

C:\game install here\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Men of War Assault Squad 2\resource\map\single

I have Men of War original, not the Assault Squad 2.

When I open the resource folder, the following options I have are

    Entity
    Interface
    Game Pak
    Interface_Euro Pak
    Music Pak
    Red_blood Pak
    sound pak
    Texture Pak
    Video_Common Pak
    Video_eng Pak
    Voice_eng pak

    No map to click on.
    Entity folder opens to
    e1 pak
    e2 pak
    e3 pak

    Interface opens to
an image of Men of War logo with title splash under it.

I checked all the pak folders with winrar

None of them led to anything related to maps except the game pak

    Game pak opens to
    Interface
    Map
    Properties
    set
    Shaders

    OH look map folder right?

    That opens to
    Editor_tut
    Multi
    single

I have a saved folder here named 123 and I don't see it on this list. I checked Single multi, editor_tut and I can't find my saved map.

I used that path in case you bought MoW from steam(my Mow is not). The only thing that looks familiar is the "single" folder. If you saved something in the Editor I would think it would be there. What are you trying to do exactly?

The way I understand it is every map has a mission file in it named 0.mi. I used the editor to open that mission by pressing F3 then loading 0.mi file then I added tanks and people, changed their team to 1, then saved the file as 10.mi the 123 saved file was from F2 set up not F3 so the 123 map didn't have the triggers or anything like F3 map but I still can't find the 10.mi file.

From reading what you said it seems like you said to open the mission folder from the editor, open the mission folder from the game, and copy paste the mission folder from the editor into the game files so that way I can play the mission with more tanks and men but the problem is I can't find the 10.mi editor file in the first place.
